Excessive lust leads to divorce: Sena on seat sharing talks

Mumbai, Sep 13 (PTI): Citing a recent court verdict, Shiv Sena today said, "excessive lust leads to divorce" and asked the constituents of 'Mahayuti' alliance to exercise restraint while demanding extra share during seat allocation talks.

"Allies in the coalition must dream of a victory. For this, all parties must give up the lust for more seats. To say we will stay in the coalition only if we get 'so many seats' is not right," an editorial in Sena mouthpiece Saamana said.

The remarks, coming ahead of the finalisation of seat sharing talks for the October 15 Maharashtra polls, are being considered a veiled criticism of BJP amid reports that the latter had sought more seats to contest this time around.

"We all want a change of regime. Even if someone has got fewer seats to contest, then too, they will get a proper share in government. But for that, one needs to come to power first," Sena said.

After winning 23 of the state's 48 seats in Lok Sabha polls, BJP has stepped up demand to contest more seats in Assembly polls. The Sena had won 18 LS seats. The Congress-NCP alliance, which has governed Maharashtra since 1999, won only six seats.

Sena is more powerful and accepted party than BJP in Maharashtra and their claim for more seats in the assembly is in order and their right.

SENA is useless.. they won LS seats cos of Modi wave!! their internal fights, Uddhav's uselessness, big leaders leaving, No Pramod Mahajan, (even Munde was hesitant of these people) and most importantly their policies, nikammapan, and the way they are handling BMC and the roads potholes etc and dynastic rules, have irked all in mharastra.. Being in Mumbai I can tell this much... they r liability and Amit shah has his game plan..

On the other hand, Congress is weak and as usual useless in Maharastra... their scams and internal fights r way beyond anybodys imagination and CM chavan gets booed in solapur, vidarbha, a stronghold of Congress!

However, I feel NCP has done commendable job.. just check Pune, Navi Mumbai and all freeways, Monorail and infra works in their strongholds like Baramati, Satara etc! they are paying price cos of being with Congress..

Lastly, most important factor, though new, MNS has struck a chord with youth leader.. though I have every reason to belive he started off as a congress stooge, he will win considerable seats and has shown interest in being CM or taking up responsibility unlike thackerays who were like Sonia.. power without responsibilities..

yes, BJP lacks a good leader after Munde's demise.. but post election, NCP/MNS/ may back BJP!! and this time for sure, its BJP government... may be Gadkari can come down to mantralaya..! -) but Sena, will be effective opposition.. BJP should not yield to tehir pressure tactics! in any case.. congress Mukht Bharat will be reality..! :)

Kouravas had more than 1000 years history and they were routed out due to excessive LUST, GREEDY and MISRULE.

As long as you intention is good, you will survive in this world whether you are 200 years old party or 2 years old party.

Excessive lust in both will snap ties.
"Maha Yuti" will become "Lahan" yuti.
Result wind fall gains to ruling alliance.
Whoever it is people should demand performance from Politicians and parties.
Choose the best candidate among available choice and make them accountable to their promise.
Don't side anybody, make their life miserable, as they do of common man.
Compel them to work harder and harder as a humble public servant and beg for votes.
That's the only way to cleanse political system in India, remove their lethargic attitude, corruption and making them accountable.
    Public should change their strategy.

MR. UDDHAV THACKREY YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THE CURRENT SITUATION IN MAHARASTRA. YOU ARE NOT SAME SHIV SENA WHEN BALASAHEB THACKREY WAS THERE. THAT TIME WAS DIFFERENT COMPARING CURRENT SITUATION. BY SAYING THAT BJP ALSO NOT SAME BJP AS NEW MODI ERA STARTED IN BJP AND PEOPLE ARE OVER WHELMING IT.BJP IS GOING STRENGTH TO STRENGTH IN MAHARASHTRA.
SO GIVE UP SOME SEATS TO BJP AND SAVE THE ALLIANCE. BJP HAS SEVERAL OPTION TO DEAL WITH AS IF YOU FAIL THEY HAVE MNS TO REACH OUT. YOU ARE A INTELLIGENT MAN AND YOU KNOW VERY WELL WHAT TO DO TO KICK OUT CORRUPT CONGRESS AND NCP.....
