Mumbai, Sep 20: Billava Seva Sangha, Kundapur held 160th Birth Anniversary of Sri Narayanaguru at Shubham Karothi Mandal Hall, Thane
West recently.

Gurupooje and Bhajans were held under the leadership of Kundapur Billava Women's Bhajana Mandali after religious practice and procedures. Those were followed by Theertha Prasada and Anna Santarpane.

S K Poojary and Sadananda B Poojary conducted pooja programmes. A documentary on the life of Brahmashree Narayanaguru was shown after the religious programme followed by a cultural programme by the talented.

Suresh S Poojary, honourary president of the sangha suggested everybody to incorporate the teachings of Narayanaguru in their lives and proceed in a just path so that the Almighty may fulfill our needs and desires.

Women's committee honourary secretary Santhoshi S Poojary spoke saying that the activities of the sangha are praiseworthy. She added that the programme is a model to make the youth know our practices and traditions.

Manjunatha Billawa Shirur, president of the sangha said that we have gathered together in the name of guru's birth anniversary. We should
proceed in the way shown by the guru. He said the cooperation of people will enable them to hold many more programmes and strengthen
the sangha.

He said that the sangha has helped in the search of life partners among the members and the requisite forms are distributed among them for filling in the details and submitting them.
