New Delhi, Dec 2 (IANS): Two- and three-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto Tuesday reported a marginal decline of 0.42 percent in its monthly sales for November at 309,259 units -- down from 310,591 units sold in the corresponding month of 2013.

However, the company said its exports hit the highest-ever mark in November. The company shipped out 165,733 units -- up from 133,731 units sold abroad during the corresponding month of last year.

Segment-wise, the company sold 261,948 units of motorcycles in the month under review -- down six percent from 278,703 sold in November 2013.

Commercial vehicle sales zoomed by 48 percent in November and stood at 47,311 units compared to 31,888 units in the like period of 2013.

For the fiscal 2014-15, the company sold a total of 2,739,288 units -- up four percent from 2,636,519 units in 2013-14.

The automobile manufacturer's exports during the fiscal grew by 24 percent at 1,285,340 units from 1,035,346 units in 2013-14.

Segment-wise, the company sold 2,372,882 units of motorcycles in the month under review -- up two percent from 2,336,467 units sold in 2013-14.

Commercial vehicle sales grew by 22 percent in the last fiscal and stood at 366,406 units from 300,052 units in the corresponding month of last fiscal.
