Mumbai: Reach to present Charles Nite in on Jan 25

Mumbai, Jan 20: Reach, a social and welfare association of Mira Road in association with Konkani Kala Manch Mumbai will present a musical show “Charles Nite“ on Jan 25,2015,at Holy Cross School grounds, Mira Road east at 6.30 pm.

Wellknown singers of Konkani Ivan Sequeira, Nephie Rod, Kenny, Denis Gonsalves, Antony Tauro, Frank D souza, Sunita D souza, Mariola DSouza, and Muriel D souza will sing meaningful, lively Konkani songs composed by Charles for this musical evening.

Comedy king Jerry Rasquinha and his team from Mangaluru are all set to blast the bomb of comedy.

Mumbai’s well known band Day Breakers under the leadership of Julius Noronha will provide soothing music.

The voice of Mumbai Clement Lobo will compere the show.

Reach is an acronym for ready to educate and accept challenges of humanity. This registered trust has undertaken number of welfare projects in Mira Road including free ambulance facility to the needy.

Charles D Cunha a well known singer of Konkani stage has 6 mini musical nites and one Charles Nite to his credit. He has composed most meaningful songs on various subjects. A true lover of Konkani, he is instrumental in conducting Konkani choir at St Xaviers Church Kanjurmarg, St Josephs church Vikhroli, and St Francis Church, Park site and in his present parish I C Colony Borivli. He is the general secretary of Canara Konkani Association Borivli of which George D'Souza is the founder president and industrialist Albert W DSouza is the present president.

Music lovers are requested to come in large numbers and enjoy the nite as the following day is a Republic Day holiday to relax.
