Mumbai, Jan 22: The 5th Jerry Nite by Jerry D'souza, Bondel was held on January 18 on Mira Road at St Josephs Church open ground.


The nite was held under the leadership of Lancy Niddodi in aid of the senior citizens home of the Sisters of Jesus Ministry, Nallasopara.


































The programme commenced with a devotional song "Namo Namo Sorvespora". "Diya Sohakar" was sung by Jerry to pledge support to the home.


Antony Tauro and Ivy D'souza, Mangaluru were the star attractions of the show. The new comedy troupe Joseph Pinto and troupe Mangaluru presented hilarious skits.


Blanny D'costa, Lancy Niddodi, Judi D'souza, Miss Roicy Sequeira and Baba Lewin Sequeira rendered their melodious voices making the show a super hit.


Fr Denis Misquith, Sr Celine D'souza and all her companions were present during the show. Mira Road Konkani Welfare Association president John Crasta and treasurer Arun Noronha were also present.
"Naach Sobhann" group of Mandd Sobhann danced to the songs sung by Antony Tauro, Benjamin Miranda, Sachin Sequeira and others to the accompaniment of instruments.


Through this unique show, Jerry who is physically challenged showed that a person can achieve anything if he has the will.


Jerry D'souza compered the programme beautifully.

    God bless Lancy D'Souza, Niddodi for extending his helping hand and organizing this show in aid of the senior citizens home of the Sisters of Jesus Ministry, Nallasopara. Kudos to Jerry Bondel, all Singers, Comedians, Dancers, Musicians and also the large audience of Mira Road and making this event a grand success.
