Youth from Kasargod dies in Kuwait accident

Kasargod, Jan 26: A man from the district lost his life after suffering injuries in a road accident at Kuwait.

The victim of this unfortunate incident is Ummerul Farooq (27), son of Husainar from Badoor Chakattechal near Kumble in the district.

Three persons including two Indians lost their lives in the accident. Three more were also injured. The other person who passed away is said to be Syed from Uttar Pradesh.

It is gathered that a car in which six workers of a company including Ummerul Farooq were travelling, met with an accident. More details of the accident are not yet known.

Farooq had secured a job and gone to work in Kuwait four months back. Family sources said steps are being taken to bring his body to his native place.
