Mumbai, Aug 9: On the occasion of Rakhi, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan received a touching tribute from his sister Saba Ali Khan, just months after he survived a knife attack during a home burglary in Bandra.

Taking to Instagram, Saba shared a series of throwback pictures of the Khan family and penned a heartfelt note, expressing her love, prayers, and concern for her brother’s safety.

“I love you always. And have your back! As I’m sure you do mine,” she wrote. “My duas and prayers will protect you, especially when I worry about your safety… life is so unpredictable.”

The Knife Attack

Earlier this year, Saif was stabbed six times while trying to fend off a burglar who broke into his Bandra home around 2:15 a.m. The attacker reportedly first confronted a house help in Jeh Ali Khan’s room, and when Saif intervened, he was seriously injured, with two stab wounds dangerously close to his spine.

Despite the trauma, Saif made a strong recovery and recently returned to the screen in the streaming film ‘Jewel Thief’.

Family Bonds

Saba’s post also included warm wishes for Kamal, her other brother, and praised her brother-in-law Kunal Kemmu, husband of Soha Ali Khan:

“You’re a brother I’m thrilled to have found!”

She wrapped up the message with love for her cousins and sisters, Soha and Kareena Kapoor Khan, calling them “the best,” and shared nostalgic photos, including Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim’s first Rakhi celebration.

With emotions running high, the post was a reminder of the unbreakable bonds of the Khan family and the resilience Saif has shown both on and off screen.
