Mumbai, Jan 27: GSB Mandala, Dombivli held their annual sports tournaments in Chandrakanth Patkar University grounds, Dombivli on
Sunday, January 18. Mandala president Manohar Pai lighted the traditional lamp and set the tournaments in motion. The sports
started after reciting ‘Vande Mataram’.



Running race for children below five years, memory test for school children, one legged race for adults, book balancing, shot put, musical chairs, badminton and other sports were held. Sports lovers of all ages participated and won the prizes.

In the concluding ceremony held in the evening, the winners were awarded prizes and felicitated. Mandala president Manohar Pai, Vice
president Ramananda Padiyar, Secretary Palimaru Nithyananda K Pai, treasurer Venkatesh Kamath and members Dinesh Kudva, Muralidhar Bhat, Narayan Kamath, Kasturi Kamath, Vinith Kini and Rajendra Bhat present on the occasion handed over the prizes and wished the winners well.

The sports festival held under the supervision of Mandala members Ganesh Kini and Assistant Secretary Vishnudas Mallya was concluded
with national anthem.
