Kajol leaves fans amused with 'butterflies in stomach' question

Mumbai, Aug 18: Bollywood actress Kajol once again kept her Instagram followers entertained with a quirky question after sharing pictures of herself in a stunning traditional ensemble.

The actress looked elegant in a yellow saree with a red border, paired with a matching red blouse. She completed the ethnic look with a large red bindi, jhumkas and her hair neatly tied in a bun.

However, it was Kajol's caption that grabbed the most attention.

“When butterflies fall in love... do they feel humans in their stomach?” she wondered, adding a thinking-face emoji.

The unusual question prompted an array of amusing and affectionate reactions from netizens.

While one user called Kajol an “enchanting woman”, another wrote, “With THAT smile, you’re the reason there are butterflies in everyone’s stomach.”

One follower attempted to offer a logical explanation, writing, “Madam unke stomach me love hota he tabhi Dron ki tarah udte rahete he.” Another quipped, “If they do, those humans better be paying rent for staying in there.”

Kajol, who celebrated her 52nd birthday on August 5, had earlier expressed gratitude to her fans for the overwhelming love and wishes she received on her special day.

Sharing two pictures of herself stuck in traffic, the Maa actress wrote that she did not want to post a lengthy emotional message but could not let the day end without thanking everyone who had taken time to send her a message, make a video or simply send some love.

She described herself as “so lucky” to have a “loyal & delightfully crazy group of people” in her corner and sent her followers virtual hugs, jokingly asking them to eat a piece of cake on her behalf.

Kajol celebrated her birthday with actor Vatsal Sheth. The two were seen cutting the cake in the presence of their respective family members.
