Mumbai, Jan 31: Chatrapathi Shivaji awardee, winner of Maharastra government's Kondadeva award and present president of women's wing of Bombay Bunts Association, Mumbai, Sarala B Shetty, has been selected to be the referee in the 35th International Games weight lifting
championship tournament being held from January 31 till February 5 in Trissur, Kerala.


The selection of Sarala Shetty in International division 2 was held by the government of Maharastra. She is the only female referee to have been selected by the Maharastra government.
