Udupi, Feb 14: A large convention of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) will be organised by Navodaya Grama Vikasa Charitable Trust here on March 7.
Addressing press persons here, Trust managing trustee M N Rajendra Kumar informed that the convention will be inaugurated by chief minister H D Kumaraswamy.
The convention aims to highlight the feats of SHGs and encourage their members to achieve more, he said.
Cooperative minister G T Devegowda, district in-charge minister Dr V S Acharya and MLA K Raghupati Bhat are expected to attend the programme.
