Mumbai, April 6: Prathvi S Poojary, daughter of Mumbai businessman,Vice president of Billava Seva Sangha Kundapur, Arts promoter,Kundapur Navunda Badakere resident Sudhakar C Poojary and Kundapurt aluk Neralakatte resident Vimala S Poojary has excelled in Classical dance since when she was three years old.




She is now a student of Holy Angels College in Dombivli and is residing with her parents at Dombivli. Her parents and elder brothersm Prasad and Pramod also are artistes.

She has performed in Mumbai and Karnataka and won the hearts of classical dance lovers besides winning awards, getting felicitations and certificates. She has been trained in Karnataka classical music by Mysore Sangeetha Vidyalaya teacher Umanagabhushan and in classical dance by Dombivli Kala Deepam dance school's senior dance teacher Shobha Nayar.

She has participated in programmes of Mysore Association, Mumbai,Anuja Mahila Mandali Dombivli, Billava Association regional committee Dombivli, Mumbai Asthika Samaja, Kundapur Billava Seva Sangha, Mumbai,Mumbai Kannada Sangha and several other groups and organizations, earning accolades from the audience. She is presented Aralu Mallige award being presented to budding and promising artistes by Bangaluru's Jnana Mandara educational and cultural academy.
