Mumbai: Gurunarasimha Jayanti celebrated by Koota Mahajagathu

Mumbai, May 4: The Mumbai branch of Koota Mahajagathu Saligrama celebrated Gurunarasimha Jayanti at Gokula auditorium of BSKB Association, Sion west on Sunday May 3.


Priest Narasimha Mayya conducted the religious service. Nagesh Rao and Bhagyalaxmi N Rao led the religious programmes. Hundreds of members of the association took part in the celebrations. Former president of BSKBA, K S Rao, secretary Balachandra B Rao, Rekha Karanth and others were present.

Priest Narashimha distributed prasada to H K Karanth, P V R Aithal, Ramesh M Rao, Nagarathna Holla and Sahana A Pothi on behalf of the association.

In a simple programme held later, the association vice president U N Aithal gave details on the development of the association. He informed that the financial help provided to U N charitable trust will be extended to Brahmin students in Mumbai. Secretary P C N Rao welcomed the gathering and delivered the vote of thanks.
