Mumbai, May 6: BSKB Association and Subrahmanya Seva Sangha jointly celebrated the birth anniversary of Adi Shenkaracharya on Sunday, May 3.



Several special devotional hymns were sung by devotees and priests in the morning after usual prayers. Brahmashree Keshava Sharma who had come especially from Bangaluru for the programme spoke on the devout life of Adi Shankeracharya and advised the devotees to follow his footsteps.

After Havana Poornahuthi, the group of priests held Veda Ghosha.Suchitra Arun Rao held Music service and Bhargavi Poothi held the dance performance.

Theertha prasada was distributed to the devotees later followed by Mantrakshathe and Anna Santarpane.
