Barcelona, June 1 (IANS): Spanish football club FC Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta became father for the second time after the birth of a boy named Paolo Andrea, the player has announced.
"Hello everyone!! We have Paolo Andrea, while the mother and the baby are fine. Great happiness!" Iniesta posted on his Facebook page on Monday, reports Efe.
Paolo was born just one day after his team won the Copa del Rey Cup beating fellow Spanish club Athletic Bilbao 3-1 at Camp Nou Stadium here on Saturday.
Iniesta and his wife Anna Ortiz had their first child, a girl, a month and a half before the Champions League final in 2011, when Barcelona defeated Manchester United 3-1 at Wembley Stadium in England.
The birth of Paolo Andrea also comes a week before Barcelona will face Juventus in the Champions League final in Berlin on June 6.
