Newell's Old Boys agrees to sell Casco to Marseille


Marseille, Aug 4 (IANS): Marseille and Newell's Old Boys have reached an agreement for the transfer of Argentine defender Milton Casco to the French football club for 2.5 million euros.

Marseille confirmed on Monday that it was negotiating with the Argentine club for the transfer of the 27-year-old left back, reports Efe.

According to reports, the Argentine club lowered the initial amount of four million euros to sell Casco, who featured in one international game with Argentina, and added that "some details" remain to close the official move of the defender to France.

Casco debuted at Gimnasia La Plata in 2009 and joined Newell's Old Boys in 2012.
