Mumbai, Jun 4: Konkani Catholic Association (KCA), Nalasopara organized a programme to distribute notebooks, uniforms and scholarships to students for the academic year 2007-08 at St Francis De Sales Church, Nalasopara here on Sunday June 3.
The programme was presided over by KCA president Harry Coutinho while Maitri Developers director Ajit Patare was the chief guest.
Parish priest and principal of St Francis De Sales High School Jerson D’Souza blessed the occasion.
Rupesh Jadhav of Nalasopara municipal council education standing committee and Church assistant parish priest Fr Rosario were present as special invitees and distributed the scholarships and uniforms to the students.
Association treasurer Alwyn D’Souza compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
