Mangalore, Jun 11: BSNL employees will go on a week-long stir from Tuesday June 12, stated a press release issued by BSNL Employees Union.

As part of its nation-wide protest, the district unit of BSNL Employees Union will be holding a dharma from June 12 to 18, 2007 in the Dakshina Kannada Telecom district.

The BSNL employees will gather at the district chief General Manager's office premises urging to fulfill their various demands.  Their demands include starting of increment in their salary from January, 2007, bridging the gap in the pay structure of officials and labourers, filling all the vacant slots in BSNL and not privatizing BSNL.
