Moodbidri, Jun.12: The foundation stone for Hosabettu Holy Cross church hall was laid here on Sunday June 10.
It was blessed and consecrated by Msgr Denis Moras Prabu, new vicar general of Mangalore diocese.
Moodbidri-Mulki MLA Abhayachandra Jain, former minister K Amarnath Shetty, parish priest, Fr Alban D’Souza, were present on the occasion.
Vice-president of the parish council Valerian Cutinho welcomed the gathering. Francis Goveas, proposed vote of thanks. Secretary Urban Menezes compered the programme.
