Kundapur, Jun 15: The Yakshagana Kala Kendra, Airody at Hangarakatte near here has invited applications for admission to training classes in dance, music and mridanga of Yakshagana tradition.
The institute has trained several Yakshagana artistes of repute, especially playback singers. The classes will start from July 20 and continue till July 30. Accommodation facility will be provided to the enrolled students.
Scholarships in dance will be awarded to deserving candidates. Those above the age of 15 years having basic knowledge of music are eligible to apply. The candidates must also be literate.
