Mangalore, Jun 16: Here’s a case that is common in our courts, but one that will see a unique way of seeking justice.

The victim, Dayananda Kumar, will run for justice from Sharvau Mahaganapati Temple to the deputy commissioner’s office on Sunday June 17 at 6.30 am. Joining him in the run for justice will be celebrity athletes Suniel Shetty, Raymond D’Souza, Lakshman Rai, Amarnath Rai, Tejamayya, Yogish Kumar and others.

Kumar was cheated of Rs 5 lac by builder U Hussain way back in 1995. Kumar had entered in to an agreement with Hussain wherein the builder promised to build a flat for Kumar, who forwarded a sum of Rs 5 lac to him. But upon completion of the flat, Kumar found to his disgust that the flat had been sold to another person without his consent.

Though Kumar lodged a complaint with the police, nothing has been done so far. The builder allegedly has high political connections which are protecting him.

After trying all means except the court of justice as he did not want to prolong the case, Kumar, who happens to be an athlete at the international level, has now come up with this novel way of expressing his ire.
