Mangalore, Jun 16: The KIOL ore processing plant near Panambur, was witness to a ghastly accident when a cleaner of a tipper died of suffocation after being submerged under a heap of iron ore fines here on Thursday, June 14.

According to police reports the lorry driven by one Ganesh rammed against a tipper driven by Abdul Rahman, which instantly overturned. 

Farooq (22), the cleaner of the tipper was flung out and the iron ore fines fell on him, choking him to death.

A case has been filed in the Panambur police station in this regard.
