Mangalore, Jun 18: Congress will form a five-member committee in each ward of Mangalore City Corporation in order to recognize candidates for the approaching city corporation elections, said KPCC secretary H N Prem Kumar, speaking to press persons here on Sunday June 17.

He further said that according to the new reservation policy, the party has changed the criteria for candidate selection and added that the party won the Ullal by-elections due to joint efforts of all the members as well as the workers.

The committees in each of the wards will select the candidates after consulting the public, Kumar added.
