Mangalore, Jun 20: Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL), a subsidiary company of ONGC Ltd, has been conferred the “Mini Ratna Category I” status by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, GoI.
MRPL will now enjoy greater autonomy as defined in the DPE guidelines
MRPL Awarded Best Exporter:
At a glittering function organized by the Federation Of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) at Taj West End, Bangalore, on Saturday June 16 MRPL received the award for the ‘Best Exporter’ through NMPT (New Mangalore Port Trust) from P B Mahishi, chief secretary of government of Karnataka and P Tamilvanan, chairman, NMPT. The Award is in recognition of the volume of export performance of MRPL in 2006-07.
