New app to address healthcare needs

Mumbai, Sep 3 (IANS): Now you can consult top doctors in India online and book an appointment with them as well thanks to a new app launched by TopDoctorsOnline.com (TDO).

With tie-ups with up over 120 hospitals, several diagnostic and pathology chains as well as emergency services - which are accessible directly through the app - it claims to provide complete healthcare solutions.

It provides live consultation service where users can chat or talk to doctors in real-time.

"This service helps solve queries, gain better insight towards health problems and receive guidance with regards to precautions, booking appointments, first-aid and more," said co-founder and chairman of TDO, Bharat Bhardwaj.

The 'live-chats' and 'doctor-on-call' feature reduces the wait-time between the doctor-patient interaction, thereby allowing the doctors to attend to more patients from across the country.

Users can receive guidance from in-house doctors over the app and when required can book appointments with local specialists and leading experts across India.

The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
