Singapore, Oct 20: Thumbay Moideen, founder president of the board of governors of Gulf Medical University, Ajman, addressed a high-profile gathering at the 7th Annual Higher Education Summit Asia held at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore on October 19-20.




Delivering the ‘Investor Address on Building Scalable Private Education Business in Asia’ on the opening day of the conference, Thumbay Moideen outlined the trends, strategies, opportunities and prospects of the education sector in Asia as well as globally.

Sarah Ball (principal – Woods Bagot, Australia), Dr Peter Looker (head of teaching, learning and pedagogy division - Nanyang Technological University, Singapore), Dr Pierre Tapie (founder - PAXTER Paris-Singapore and honorary chairman - Conference des Grandes Ecoles, France) were some of the other prominent speakers at the conference.
