Doha: KMCA set to celebrate ‘Karnataka Rajyotsava’ on Nov 6

Doha, Oct 26: Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association, a socio cultural group affiliated to ICC is all set to celebrate its mega event ‘Karnataka Rajyotsava’ at Al-Maha Boys Academy, Doha on November 6.









KMCA president Niyaz Ahmed told the media that from this year Public TV H R Ranganath will be gracing the occasion as chief guest and from Karnataka renowned artistes Omganesh, Satish Hemmadi, Asadulla Beig and Vilas Nayak will be entertaining the Qatar Kannadigas.

Multi-talented renowned artiste Omganesh will be compering the function. He is a famous magician, Kannada film actor, column writer, shadow player and event organizer. He has performed in more than 40 countries and has bagged many state-national awards.

Vilas Nayak is admired all over the world for his unique art skills. He is a speed painting artist who showed his hand skills on TV shows such as ‘Asia's Got Talent’ and ‘India's Got Talent’. Performing in over more than 20 countries he has bagged many fans. His performance is well appreciated by Dr A P J Abul Kalam, football legend Pele, cricket star Sachin Tendulkar, Singapore president Tony Tan Keng Yam, TV stars Sharukh Khan, Salman Khan and many others. So far he has raised more than USD 1 million for charity through auction of his art works.

Asadullah Beig is a unique Kannada Shayari poet, who has captured many Kannada poetry lovers hearts. Even after servicing as bank manager, he has nourished Kannada literature with his unique style of write ups. He is an extraordinary performer who can perform for more than an hour continuously and fly his words of shayari.


Satish Hemmadi a renowned young talented magician, has played many items at a time and has grabbed many national awards for his outstanding performance. He is famous in his 'Milk Can Escape' and 'Umbrella' unwind act.

Niyaz said that this year KMCA’s ‘Karnataka Rajyotsava’ celebration will be a mix of entertainment and will stand unique. Gate passes for the function will be available at Mazza Restaurant, Maharaja Restaurant and Swagat Restaurant.

Niyaz also shared that in continuation with efforts to promote knowledge about Karnataka among Qatar based children, KMCA will be conducting a written quiz competition 'Explore Karnataka' on October 30 at Royal Garden Compound Club House, D-Ring Road’.
