Kuwait: SWAK celebrates fun-filled family get-together day

Kuwait, Oct 27: Members of Shirva Welfare Association Kuwait (SWAK) spent leisure time together with families and friends in their own social world at the premises of Touristic Enterprises Company’s - Messila Beach, Kuwait on Friday October 23.










































The day commenced with a prayer of thanksgiving led by the Public Relations Officer of SWAK, Alexander Fernandes to God Almighty for all his blessings.

President Alwyn D’Souza welcomed the gathering and wished everyone an enjoyable fun filled day.

Snacks and soft drinks were served early in the day to energize the participants.

The turnout for the picnic was significant in numbers.

Recreational activities for children and adults were organized by the cultural secretary Robert Mathias along with traditional games. Everybody was given a short break to mingle among the crowd to have some beach frolic.

It was soon time to enjoy the outdoors family lunch served by Log-Inn Restaurant Kuwait and Vincent Alva family. Clifford D’Souza along with the kid’s team said grace before meals.

Auditor Anil Menezes, cultural secretary Robert Mathias and committee member Gilbert Mendonca conducted housie housie.

Gifts and prizes were distributed thereafter to the winning participants of all the competitive activities.

Towards the end, general secretary Doris Lobo delivered the vote of thanks and praised all the sponsors for their wholehearted support and thanked the event organizers as well as all the family members for their individual efforts in making this memorable day a great success and joy.

All the events at the get-together were well managed by the former presidents of SWAK Anil Menezes and Clifford D'Souza.
