San Diego to host World Beach Games


Washington, Oct 31 (IANS): The first World Beach Games have been awarded to San Diego in 2017, the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) said.

The Games will see more than 20 sports including surfing, beach soccer, beach handball, beach volleyball, triathlon, BMX and skateboarding, Xinhua reported.

The ANOC, which held a two-day general assembly here, said on Friday the line-up of the event is yet to be finalised.
