M'luru: St Christopher Association celebrates Christmas

Mangaluru, Dec 21: "This Christian managed institute with around 100 non catholics who have gathered to celebrate Christmas is a unique experience which brings in the feeling of oneness in the city," said chief guest Purushotham Chitrapura, deputy mayor of Mangaluru City Corporation at the St Christopher association Christmas celebration function at Rosario after the cake cutting ceremony.

















Arif Padubidri, guest speaker of the day explained how the Holy Quran explains the birth and life of Jesus with utmost respect. It is the Christians who are called merciful in the world.

President of the function and the president of the assocition, Raymond D'Cunha welcomed the guests and presented them flowers as a respect gesture to them.

Honorary president Suhseel Noronha was present on the stage. Secretary Dennis D'Souza compered the programme. Joint secretary, Leena D'Souza presented the vote of thanks. All the gathered were offered a packet of Christmas sweets.

Manager Praveen Lobo and executive members were present.
