Mangalore, Sep 18: The body of Sooraj (21), a student hailing from Nepal, was traced on the seashore near Baikampady here on Monday.

Sooraj was a student of MV Shetty College of Physiotherapy and had got into the sea at Panambur beach for swimming along with four other companions on Sunday. He reportedly drowned and his body had not been found immediately thereafter.

Another of them, Devendra, was saved from almost drowning and he is said to be recovering from the effects.
