Mangalore, Sep 18: For the inter-university music competition to be held at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, candidates are to be selected from the Mangalore University. This selection will be held at the Nutan Ravindra Mantap, in MGM College campus on October 5 and 6, informed a press release from the principal of MGM College, Jayaprakash Mavinakuli, here on Monday, September 17.
The selection programme has been titled “Swara Raga Sudha”, added the release.
The competition will include Carnatic and Hindustani vocal, instrumental music, light music, group songs, and Western Music. The participants, including the winners, will be awarded with marks. This will benefit the students under the semester system of Mangalore University.
