Moodbidri, Sep 18: Prof G Venkata Subbaiah has been chosen as the president of national convention ‘Alva's Nudisiri-07, said Dr M Mohan Alva, chairman, Alva's Education Foundation.
Speaking at the press conference held on Tuesday September 18, he said that senior litterateur Ni Vyasaraya Ballal will inaugurate the convention. The convention will be held at Vidyagiri here from November 30 to December 2, he added.
Prof G Venkata Subbaiah (92), an eminent literary critic, authority in translation has contributed for over 7 decades in literary sphere. Moreover in spite of his advanced age, he has consented to chair the convention which made us happy, Dr Alva said.
