Mangalore, Sep 18: Thousands of devotees of Lord Ganesha took an active part in the procession of Sarvajanika Ganeshotsava despite heavy rains at Kinnigoli here on Monday September 17.
The procession started in the evening from Ganesha Mantapa near Kinnigoli bus stand to Nandini Rivar at Kateel where the idol of Lord Ganesha was immersed.
Devotees were dancing to the tune of the music. Many organizations took part in the procession. Different types of tableux were also displayed at the procession.
