India-Pakistan ticket lottery system starts

Kolkata, March 12 (IANS): The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that the online process to register for the lottery system for the India-Pakistan match on March 19, started at 12 p.m. on Saturday for a 48-hour window.

The lottery system process has to be done again as the match was relocated to the Eden Gardens in Kolkata from the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala due to security concerns.

"The fans, in India and abroad, can register by completing an online registration form which is available on the website. The registered fans will be automatically enrolled into the random draw and then through an automated process, the winners will be chosen," said a BCCI statement.

The online registration form will be available on bookmyshow.com.

The winners from the random draw will then be given an opportunity to buy tickets for the match they have opted for and will receive a payment link to complete their booking.
