Udupi, Oct 4: MLA  K Raghupathi Bhat ruled out any possibilities of BJP workers involving in the attack on the house of Kinnimulki councilor Amritha Krishnamurthy.

Speaking at a press conference, Bhat said that the issue was purely personal between Krishnamurthy and BJP’s local unit General Secretary Vijay Suvarna. ‘‘It has nothing to do with Congress or BJP,’’ he added.

He accused Krishnamurthy of involving in many criminal activities like assaulting, threatening, cheating in the name of land dealings etc and urged the police to include his name in the rowdy list.

Vijaya Suvarna, Latha Suvarna, newly-elected councillor Panduranga Malpe, Kadekar panchayat president Pradeepchandra, panchayat member bRaghavendra and others were present at the press meet.
