Udupi, Oct 4: The Congress committee of Udupi block strongly condemned the behaviour of victorious BJP members and demanded an enquiry into the recent threats received by the Congress members.   

Yashpal Suvarna should be arrested soon for his criminal background and for calling Congress youth leader K Krishnamurthy as ‘goonda’, demanded the former MLA U R Sabhapathi while addressing a press meet here on Wednesday October 3.

Sabhapathi further demanded that serious action should be taken against those who were involved in the attack on scheduled caste men, which took place on Tuesday October 2 and further stated that the said incident took place in front of the police officials.

According to him if the government fails to conduct an enquiry into these matters then the Congress party will stage a protest.
