World T20: Girl commits suicide after West Indies defeat India in semi-final

Friday, April 1 : In a shocking incident, a B.Tech student of Gwalior allegedly committed suicide after India lost to West Indies in the semifinal of World Twenty20 on Thursday. According to a TOI report, "Though the girl left no suicide note that would link her death to the cricket match, her family said she had prayed for India's victory and was upset after the match was over.

Surubhi Kamthan, student of MITS college in Gwalior, watched the match with her family. Police sources quoted the family as saying she had offered prasad and had prayed for India's victory. Her body was found hanging in her room in the morning." Title aspirants India were knocked out of the ICC World Twenty20 with a heartbreaking seven-wicket defeat at the hands of West Indies, who capitalised on the home team's sloppy bowling display in a high-scoring semifinal showdown in Mumbai.

    whoever it is ,it is not worth to suecide because Nation has lost.we cant bring in life when India win next time in you.Just think it is a Play,a fun in our sparetime to watch.Of course one will be happy when win,also sad when lost.But dont go to the extent of taking off life.Life is so precious and only once we live.Parents and Family with friends will be mourning because you are not there,but not any Player or Nation.They benifit from their win or loss,but dont share with us.This is the utter truth we have to Keep in mind.Hope we dont have anymore such sad incidences in future.Heartfelt sympathys to her Family.whether she died with Connection of lost Play or any other reason,it is a loss to her Family.May her Soul rest in pwace.
