New Delhi, Jul 18 (Agencies): The Supreme Court on Monday accepted all the major recommendations of Justice R M Lodha panel on massive structural and administrative reforms in BCCI.
Court accepted the recommendations to have CAG nominee in BCCI and that office bearers in BCCI should not be beyond the age of 70 years.
The apex court told BCCI to adopt one-state-one-vote policy. States like Maharashtra and Gujarat having more than one cricket association will have voting rights on rotational basis.
It also accepted recommendation that One person should hold one post in cricket administration to avoid any conflict of interest, the apex court added.
Court gave BCCI six months to implement changes as per Lodha recommendations.
The bench of Chief Justice T S Thakur and Justice F M I Kalifulla pronounced the verdict.
