Bengaluru, Aug 31: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials, as per information, have collected some documents from revenue department relating to complaint about land grabbing filed with the bureau against Karnataka government's chief secretary, Arvind Jadhav.

As per reports, ACB officials went through documents from the records room of Vidhan Soudha and took away some papers with them. It is being claimed that the ACB officials did this, acting on a complaint filed by RTI activist, S Bhaskaran.

Bhaskaran has already been questioned by ACB officials. Sources said they gathered information by orally questioning him.

It is said that all preparations had been made to distribute 66 out of 74 acres of government land situated in survey No. 29 of Ramanayakanahalli, Sarjapura revenue division in Anekal taluk. Jadhav has been accused of bringing pressure to create document to show that 8.30 acres of land was acquired by his mother.

After survey department officials raised objections, Jadhav got angry and transferred officials who were non-cooperative, Bhaskaran had allegedly told the ACB.
