Mangalore, Dec 18: The annual day celebration of Hira Group of Educational Institutions was held at Town Hall on Tuesday December 18.
The programme was presided over by Janab Mohammed Atharulla Sharief, general secretary of Jamat-e-Hind, Karnataka and Goa. R Ramanath Rai, ex-minister for transport, Janab B A Moideen, ex-minister for higher education, Janab U T Khader, ex-MLA of Ullal, Al Haj B Abdul Razak, chairman, Hydrosa Hajji Charitable Trust, Janab P Aboobaker, Janab P B Ibrahim, PWD contractors, Dr Habeeb-ur-Rahman, were the chief guests, present on the occasion.
Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions during the function. Cultural programmes were exclusively held from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
