Mangalore, Dec 19: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited, part of the ONGC group, has bagged the ‘Certificate of Merit’ given by Karnataka Renewable energy development limited for the year 2006-07.

According to the press release from MRPL it is said that it is for the second time that the award has been given to MRPL for its lowest specific energy consumption figures, energy conservation measures, organizational set-up and commitment towards energy conservation.
