Mangaluru: Arasu Friends Association has new office bearers

Mangaluru, Nov 5: The sixth annual meeting of Arasu Friends Association, Jeppinamogaru was held at Bantara Sangha auditorium, Jeppinamagaru on October 23.

Association president Pravin Chandra L Rai presided over the meeting. Shanta L Rai, Mridula Nayak, Shambhavi Shetty, Rohini Shetty and Chandravathi Shetty, elders in the association lit the traditional lamp and inaugurated the meeting. Uday Chandra Rai welcomed the gathering. Chief secretary Pritam Nayak gave details of the achievements of the association and future plans.

Navin Chandra Rai was elected president, Preetham Nayak, Chandrahas Naik and Divya Ratan Shetty vice presidents, Jayanth Shetty, chief secretary, Gagan Nayak, Secretary, Shwetha Dinesh, joint secretary; Santhosh Kumar, treasurer; Anup Bangera, sports secretary; Kiran Kumar, Subhashini Dinesh Shetty, joint sports secretaries; advisory committee members Pravin Chandra L Rai, Ratan Shetty, Jayaram Poonja; working committee members are Suresh J M, Satyaraj Shetty, Vanitha Udayachandra Rai, Gayatri Rakesh Rai, Prakash Shetty, K C Rai and Chandrakala Gagan Nayak.

Ratan Shetty, Navin Carpenter, Divya Ratan Shetty, Chandrakala Gagan Nayak, Anoop Bangera were present on the dais. Children presented a dance and entertainment on the occasion. Children Thrisha Shetty and Tanisha Shetty compered the programme. Secretary Santhosh Kumar proposed the vote of thanks.
