Mumbai, Feb 1: The women's wing of Billavara Association celebrated Harasina Kumkuma programme on Sunday January 29.

Devaraj Poojary presided over the programme. Shaila Raj was chief guest. Billavara Association Mumbai women's wing executive president Shakuntala Kotian, deputy executive president Prabha K Bangera, honorary secretary Sumithra Bangera and local committee women's wing workers Prema K Poojary, Yashoda K Karkera, Devaki Salian, Hemalatha Suvarna, guests of honor lit the traditional lamp and set the programme in motion.

Devaki Salian welcomed the gathering. Senior activist Gulabi Babu Poojary gave details of Harasina Kumkuma.

Shakuntala Kotian said that Dombivli local committee is ahead in everything and called on the members to remain united and conduct pro-community work. Hemalatha Suvarna thanked those who made the programme a success. Yashoda K Karkera compered the programme. Women distributed Harasina Kumkuma at the end of the programme and began the celebration. Local sweets were distributed to all.
