Mangalore, Feb 22: The annual get-together and annual day celebrations of Buntara Yane Nadavara Matra Sangha will be held on Saturday February 23, at A B Shetty auditorium, located in Bunts Hostel.

The annual get-together will begin at 11.00 am on Saturday and will be presided over by Prof B M Hegde and attended by K Amarnath Shetty, president of Buntara Matra Sangha and other office-bearers.

Following distinguished will be honoured on the occasion for their significant contribution to the society:

K Leeladar Shetty Kaup (social service), Prof Devdas Hegde and Dr Kishorechandra Shetty (medicine), Suresh Shetty Hosoor and Sitaram Shetty Konaje (farming), Rajesh Naik Ulepady (plantation), Ganesh Shetty Ballalbagh (leading hotelier for social service), Ravindranath Alva Bellary (industrialist), Vidya Shetty Kaup (sports), Santoor Bhaskar Shetty Belgaum (social service) Vijay Kumar Shetty of Kalajagattu Mumbai (drama), Prof H Bhaskar Shetty (teaching).
