Mangalore, Feb 27: Sri Krishna Balarama Rath Yatra will be organised by the city branch of International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) here on Saturday March 1.

Addressing media persons here on Tuesday February 26, head of the branch Karunya Sagar Dasa said  that the the Rath Yatra will be flagged off after an inaugural special puja, and the procession will pass through P M Rao Road, Vamanshram road, Car Street Alake, Warehouse road, Mannagudda main road, M G road, P V S Circle and culminate at T V Ramana Pai Hall.

The Yatra will be inaugurated by Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dr D Veerendra Heggade near Hotel Navaratna. President of ISKCON Bangalore and chairman of the Akshaya Patra foundation Madhu Pandit Dasa will preside over the fuction. Deputy commissioner M Maheshwar Rao will be present.

The festival will conclude with sankirtan and maha mangalarathi and prasadam will be served to all the devotees.

Panchamruta Abhisheka followed by mahamangala arathi and Sankirtan will be performed at the hall.
