Udupi, May 9: Little Rock Indian School, Brahmavar will have a new principal from the next academic year. The principal designate is Dr John Thomas, who has a PhD in English Literature from the Mysore University. He has taught post-graduate students at the University while doing his doctoral studies.
Subsequently, he taught in international schools under the Ministry of Education in Muscat for over a decade. On returning to India Dr John worked in colleges affiliated to Kannur University, teaching both graduate and post-graduate courses.
Armed with wide-range of experience at both school and university levels, Dr John Thomas will guide the destiny of the reputed school. The management and staff of Little Rock accorded him a cordial welcome recently.
Prof Mathew C Ninan who is stepping down from Little Rock’s principalship after nearly 28 eventful years is now appointed as Director of the School. The management believes that his rich knowledge and experience should be available to the school for many more years to come.
