Congress activists who helped the corporator win in the elections are expressing dissatisfaction towards her attitude.

A family named Appi belonging to scheduled caste stays in Vijayanagar of Saralebettu ward. Their house is on the verge of falling. Sadhu, son of Appi had gone to the house of corporator Jyothi Naik and explained their plight. But Jyothi Naik who failed to respond, allegedly said that she involves only in road work and not houses. The corporator even failed to co-operate and said that there was no currency in her mobile, when Sadhu requested her to dial the telephone number of minister and hand over her phone to him to speak.
