Mangaluru: Mangalore Rifle Club shooters earn medals at Karnataka State Level Shooting championship

Mangaluru, Aug 31: Students of Mangalore Rifle Club under the expert guidance of their coach Mukesh Karkera, bagged medals at the recent Karnataka State Level Shooting championship held in Bengaluru.

Shooter Kishore secured a gold medal in the open sight air rifle competition. Seven members of the club who have qualified for south zone nationals are:
Mukesh Karkera in 10 meter air rifle Peep sight, Nazima Ali Manipady in 10 meter air rifle Peep sight, Joyel Lobo in 10 meter air rifle open sight, sandesh S in 10 meter air rifle open sight, Chuvraj in 10 meter air rifle open sight, Sarojith in youth and junior category 10 meter air rifle open sight, Pranav Rao in youth category 10 meter air rifle open sight.

Members of the club who have qualified for state level are: Karthik, Laxmi Venkatesh and Pawan Kumar in 10 meter air rifle open sight and Zahir Manipady in 10 meter air pistol.
