Mangaluru, Sep 1: National Students Union of India, on Friday, September 1 ,launched its Unit at Padua College. Glen D'Souza was nominated the president, and Gibson the vice president. Samuel was nominated the secretary and Lester, the convenor.
The students took charge from the NSUI Dakshina Kannada Committee president and State NSUI committe secretary. Dakshina Kannada MLA JR Lobo, north block president incharge Mohan Shetty, KPCC secretary Kallega Tharnath Shetty were present for the official party meeting held at District Congress Office on Friday, September 1.
Alwyn Pais from Kulshekar Block Congress, Krithin Kumar from Youth Congress, NSUI president Abdul Binnu, secretary Ashton Sequiera, general secretary Abdul Rauff were present for the programme.
